First Aid CPR Trainer

Course Descriptions




 Adult CPR                                            

Participants will learn:

1.  How to care for the adult with breathing and heart difficulties
2.  How to perform CPR, abdominal thrusts, back blows for the conscious choking adult, the modified CPR for the
     unconscious choking adult.
    
     American Red Cross Adult CPR Certification valid for 2 years
     Length of course: 2 to 2.5 hours


Adult CPR/AED 


Participants will learn:
  1. How to care for the adult with breathing and heart difficulties
  2. How to perform CPR, abdominal thrusts, back blows for the conscious choking adult, the modified CPR for the unconscious choking adult
  3. How to use the Automated  External Defibrillator (AED)
American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED Certification valid for 2 years
Length of course: 2.5 to 3.0 hours


Adult/Child CPR

Participants will learn:

1.  How to care for the adult and child with breathing and heart difficulties
2.  How to perform CPR, abdominal thrust, back blows for the conscious choking adult and child, and
     modified CPR for the unconscious choking adult and child


   
  American Red Cross Adult/Child CPR Certification valid for 2 years
     Length of course: 2.5 to 3.0 hours

     for the conscious choking infant, and modified CPR for the unconscious choking child and infa

     Length of course: 2 to 2.5 hours

First Aid

Participants will learn:
  1. How to care for someone with sudden illnesses (fainting, stroke, diabetic reactions, allergic reactions, poisoning, heat and cold related emergencies)
  2. How to care for someone with sudden injuries (soft tissue, muscle and bone injuries)
  3. How to control bleeding, immobilize injured body parts
American Red Cross First Aid Certification valid for 2 years
Length of course: 2.5 to 3 hours

  5. How to perform CPR, abdominal thrust and back blows for the conscious adult and child, chest thrusts, back blows for the conscious infant, and modified CPR for the unconscious choking adult, child/infant

Length of course: 5.5 to 6 hours
